It is best to store your pound cake in an air tight container or cake dish. Storing at room temperature will allow you to enjoy your cake for 5-6 days.
It is important to refrigerate fruit flavored cakes to prevent spoiling. Refrigerating your cake will also extend the life line of your cake. When you are ready to enjoy again, simply allow your cake slice to reach room temperature for the best flavor.
If your cake was frozen prior to shipping, we DO NOT recommend re-freezing your cake. You can freeze your pound cake. Simply wrap your cake well in plastic wrap & cover with a layer of foil. Make sure everything is tightly sealed. Even after several months your cake will taste freshly baked. *To thaw, simply allow cake to sit on counter until it reaches room temperature (2-4 hours). Never reheat to thaw.
Place glaze in a microwave safe container. Heat glaze in 8-10 second intervals if needed. Drizzle over cake!
